Dr. Rainer C. Schwinges

Head of the RAG.
Born in 1943. Studies in History, Sociology, Philosophy and Psychology in Cologne, Münster, and Gießen.
1974, PhD, 1985 habilitation for Medieval and Early Modern History at the Justus-Liebig-Universität in Giessen.
1985-1989 lecturing Medieval, Social and Economic History at the Universities of Osnabrück, Bielefeld and Giessen.
1989 to 2008 Professor for Medieval History at the University of Berne.
Since 2008 Emeritus.

Born in 1989. Studies in History and Italian at the Universities of Mainz, Dijon (France) and Bologna (Italy).
